PGA Champion-chip?

Tiger is unstoppable. He has won the last two tournaments, and he is playing in 3 straight tournaments for the first time since 2007. The result? A bogey-free round of 67 (-5) and was the leader in the clubhouse after day one. I guess the 9-time PGA Tour Player of the Year really felt like he had something to prove. After missing the cut at the British Open, this is his last chance to win a major this year. Tiger has won a major every year for the last four years, and the streak could end this year if he blows his lead. Look, I like to be creative, not always pick the best to win, BUT, Tiger is playing better golf than he has all year, so I have to pick him after today's round.. Here are the three people who I think have the biggest chance to take him down this tournament, if anyone can.

Padraig Harrington - Unfortunately, Paddy had a 8 on hole 16 that costed him the tournament. I picked him to win last week's tournament, and besides that hole, he has played well recently. Obviously everyone has been talking about Tiger, but Harrington is just one stroke back. He bogeyed hole one, but never looked back on the next 17 holes.

Hunter Mahan - Mahan has 6 top ten finishes this year, including 2 of those in majors. I feel like he can stay in this tournament. Every major has someone who hasn't won one yet in the mix, and I think he can be the guy for this year's PGA Championship.

Geoff Ogilvy - Ogilvy started off slow but birdied 4 out of 8 holes in the middle of today's round. He finished in the Top Ten in the PGA Championship in 2005, 2006 and 2007, so he has experience in the event. Also, he does have one major win behind his belt, so finishing on top won't be new for him. If he can catch Tiger.

I had a feeling Tiger may break up. As you said in your later post, Tiger's scores went up
