July 17th, 2007: Michael Vick is indicted for dog fighting. July 22nd, 2009: Roger Goodell meets with Michael Vick to talk about Vick's reinstatement. After almost two years in jail, Vick is expected to be reinstated by the league's commissioner, but with a four game suspension on top? With the reinstatement, Vick would be able to sign with any team and go to training camp, he would just have to miss the first four games. Even though he missed two pro football seasons. AND even though Vick is expected to be able to play again this year, most teams are too far into their 2009-2010 season preparations to sign another quarterback. If he is signed, he will probably be signed as a backup. Michael Vick definitely got the bad end of the expected deal, but I guess that is what dog fighting can do to you.
