Chad Ochocinco has quite the resume. From his touchdown dances to simply changing his name to "Ochocinco", he has always put himself in the headlines. But having the WR kick an extra point AND a kickoff?! In yesterday's preseason game against the New England Patriots, Chad Ochocinco did just that. He made the extra point, and right after that he did the kick-off and put it inside the 10 yard line. Not bad for a wide-out. Seriously though, Ochocinco says that he's going to be back to normal this season. Last year, he had just 53 receptions, 540 yards and 4 touchdowns, the worst season of his career other than his rookie season. He also missed the Pro Bowl for the first time since 2002. I agree with him though, and I truly think he can raise his stats. I don't know if he can put up those huge numbers again, but I do think he can bounce back. Now that T.J. Houshmandzadeh is playing in Seattle, Chad should get more touches. They did bring in Laveranues Coles from the Jets though, so that will give Carson Palmer another good target, but Coles is not Houshmandzadeh. Johnson should be the top receiver for Palmer. Besides, other than Ochocinco, the top Bengals receiver returning was Antonio Chatman, and he had just 21 receptions (Reggie Kelly had 31 receptions last year but he is out for the season with an Achilles injury). Palmer will feel much more comfortable throwing to number 85 because he's played with him for so long. I think Chad Ochocinco's got a lot of things going for him this year.
